After serving as the Vice Chair of the Bankruptcy Practice Group at one of Philadelphia's oldest and most distinguished law firms, in 2002 Rob Bovarnick started Bovarnick and Associates.  Opening the Firm provided an opportunity to combine the sophisticated practice of a large firm with the personalized service of a small firm.

Rob began his career as a trial lawyer in Miami, then moved to Philadelphia where he spent nine years at a business bankruptcy firm.  He then became the head of the creditor's rights practice at a mid sized firm before going to the large firm.

In representing companies in financial distress, Rob became involved in every aspect of the companies' business, learning what makes the companies succeed and fail.  It is this knowledge that allows Rob to become more than simply an attorney - he has become a trusted advisor. 

In order to meet the needs of an ever growing client base, Rob enlisted the services of Steve Cristal, who is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.  Steve focuses his pratice in litigation and transactional work.  When it became apparent that many clients had a need for sophisticated intellectual property work, he brought on Barbara Berschler as of counsel.  Barbara is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

The Firm handles a wide range of general corporate and business matters, ranging from complex multi-party transactions to day to day business needs.
